Back in early 2019, Samsung introduced the first One UI interface on top of Android 9.0 Pie. Now, the brand’s take on the Android OS has reached its fifth iteration. One UI 5.0 arrived last month alongside the Samsung Galaxy S22 family and is now rolling out to various mid-range and budget handsets, of which the latest is the Samsung Galaxy A52.
According to SamMobile, the firmware version A525FXXU4CVJB is now the latest available for the Samsung Galaxy A52 in Russia. The same source reveals that the software refresh to the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 also includes the November 2022 security patch. As usual, the security patch comes with various tweaks, fixes, and stability improvements.
More specific details regarding the One UI 5.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphone should become available in the coming days/weeks. For now, this piece of code is only rolling out in Russia. In the last week, Samsung updated the Galaxy Tab 8 lineup to One UI 5.0, as well as a few mid-range smartphones such as Galaxy M32, Galaxy M52, and the Galaxy XCover6 Pro.
This update, although limited to Russia, is quite surprising. Less than three weeks ago, Samsung announced that the Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A52s were scheduled to get the update in December.
In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I’ve been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
